“The Microbiome is Changing the World as We Know It”

One of the key commonalities across my laboratory experiences was the use of human and animal biospecimens, leading to a strong understanding of the need for standard collection and storage protocols to ensure successful research results in down-stream applications. From my early years collecting and processing samples and data for a multi-site Phase III clinical trial, through participating in the National Institutes of Health Human Genome Project, the Common Fund's Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) Project, the National Cancer Institute's Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC), and the science included in over 25 peer-reviewed articles, I have consistently applied my knowledge and skills successfully to accomplish the goals of the project. I now use my knowledge and skill to ensure that BIoIVT’s products will help you successfully accomplish your goals. The Microbiome is a relatively new area of research. While it has been understood on a certain level that we are an organism composed of many organisms, the effect that these microorganisms have on our health came into the modern age in the last 50 years.

Essential to these studies, is to ensure that specimen and associated data collection is performed to required standards, from donor, diagnosis, sample, shipping, and storage as well as processing before downstream analysis. At BioIVT, we use our experience as scientists and biobankers to develop the right criteria and protocols to elevate your science. It is my goal to ensure that BioIVT offers the right specimen with the right attributes to ensure your experimental success.
